Automation and IT programme cost controller required to join a global biotech company located in Dublin for an initial 8-month contract.
The Automation/IT Programme Cost Controller will manage all aspects of cost management, including forecasting, preparation and/or review of spend change requests, cost related risk management and the preparation and presentation of monthly cost reports.
Role and Responsibilities:
Monitoring, reviewing and correcting actual spend in conjunction with the AIT Project Managers.
Monitoring, reviewing and administering change management.
Reviewing invoices and back up to same.
Monitoring purchase requisitions.
Preparing various cost reports.
Compiling cash-flow forecasts of a number of work streams/subprojects.
Provide reports and feedback on any changes to the planned forecast.
Monitoring and reviewing intercompany back charges (ICBCs).
Continually identify opportunities for improvement to existing processes.
Contribute to a high-performance team culture.
Contribute to a high-performance safety culture, primarily by recognising and resolving issues as they arise.
An appropriate third level qualification.
High level of competence using Microsoft Office Suite particularly SharePoint, PowerPoint, Word and excel.
Proficient in SAP.
Ability to keep work pace and meet deadlines.
Good organising and planning skills.
Good communication skills.
Problem solver with a focus on achievement of overall project goals.
Some experience of the following would be an advantage:
Cash flow forecasting.
Working in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industries.
