Commercial Loan Officer

Job Summary:

New business development focused on small business commercial

loans and related financial products. Activities would include

scheduling business development calls, networking with referral

sources,prospecting the Bank and Affiliate customer base, and

managing the customer and prospect database.

Major Responsibilities:

New business development activities and solicitation of

financial products for clients seeking commercial real estate,

equipment, SBA, and business loans

Assesses the financial condition and risk of the financing

request within the Bank's credit culture, current economic

conditions, and industry trends

Partners with the underwriter to prepare the credit

presentation

Negotiates terms and approval conditions with the prospective

borrower

Presents the request to senior management or Loan Committee for

approval

Understands and observes all laws and regulations that relate

to commercial lending, BSA/AML and OFAC

Qualifications:

At least 7 years commercial lending experience including

soliciting, negotiating, underwriting and closing commercial

loans.

Bachelor's degree (BA) or equivalent from a four (4) year

college or university.

Successful track record in developing new business

relationships.
