Position Summary:

The Controller is responsible for coordinating, administering and controlling financial operations. Provides tax, insurance and other reports required by governmental regulations. Reviews, analyzes and interprets financial and budgetary reports. Directs all aspects of accounting operations and the preparation of annual financial forecasts. Oversees the development of financial accounting systems required to maintain reporting requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Establishing and maintaining the Company's financial policies and procedures by providing operational administrative direction to the accounting, budgeting, tax and insurance functions

Maintaining the company's financial structure and coordinating the Company's relationships and covenants with financial institutions, suppliers, and government agencies

Managing all accounting functions including, but not limited to: General Ledger, Payroll, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Billing

Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and analyze the financial results.

Reviewing working capital on a regular basis and monitor the company's cash flow

Overseeing and coordinates the financial planning, forecasting and budgeting process

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

Minimum of 5 years accounting experience with at least three years in a managerial role; public accounting and small business experience preferred

BA/BS in accounting and CPA is required and an MBA is a plus

Strong knowledge in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll Processes, etc.

Technical and comprehensive knowledge of all finance, financial planning, accounting and tax areas of a business including an excellent understanding of GAAP

Experience with selecting and implementing account systems

Excellent computer skills including all MS Office applications. (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) required

Must be efficient with strong attention to detail

Must have strong customer support orientation (for internal/external customers), demonstrated professional demeanor, and the ability to maintain confidential information
