Manager Finance – Maintenance Division

DUTIES:

* Preparation of Maintenance, Material Services, and Tech Ops division annual business plan and five-year plan, as well as monthly close package, forecast and variance explanations

* Analysis of key division cost drivers including engine/airframe component repair, heavy/line maintenance, materials and labor planning

* Work closely with operational partners to develop new forecasting process for repair costs and new tools to understand repair cost trends and variances

* Prepare monthly financial reviews for senior management

* Provide decision support and financial planning/analysis for senior management within operating division to include capital projects, vendor proposals/contracts and labor issues

* Provide support to internal and external auditors as needed

* Perform ad hoc projects as needed



QUALIFICATIONS:

* Bachelors degree in finance or accounting, MBA preferred

* 7+ years of business experience; aviation finance experience a plus

* Finance experience in an operational environment a plus

* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access and PowerPoint necessary

* Ability to take initiative, self-direct, and prioritize/manage a large volume of work and a wide variety of projects

* Ability to understand business issues and develop solutions

* Ability to work with large amounts of data

* Strong communication and presentation skills
